2024/2025 Tryout Registration - Important InfoRMATION
All athletes must complete the Tryout Registration form prior to tryouts. Tryouts are $20.00 (additional processing fees) and need to be submitted after completing the registration form.
This is a one-time charge and players may come to as many tryouts at either location as they want. The registration form must be completed prior to tryouts. Tryout dates, times and locations are listed above.
Registration Process
Step 1: Register with the OVR (Register - Ohio Valley Region (ovr.org)).
Players must bring a copy of their OVR membership on paper or have access to it through the Sports Engine app when they attend tryouts.
Step 2: Register for DG Warriors Volleyball Try-outs and pay try-out fee
Step 3: Print and complete the medical release waiver below and bring to tryouts. This waivor must be printed and present at check-in for tryouts.
*PLEASE NOTE* - Walk up registration is welcome however we encourage pre-registration to save the time and hassle at check-in the day of the try-outs.
Please arrive 30 minutes early to allow for ample time to get checked in. Registration lines tend to be long, so please plan accordingly.

Tryout FAQ
Tryout Process: All players registered for try-outs will be evaluated by coaches and directors. These coaches will take into consideration school attending (due to school rule), individual skill, team/club position need, coachability/leadership on the court.
No parents will be allowed on the courts during tryouts.
Tryout Results: All players will receive a CONTRACT OFFER or placed on the WAITLIST. Within 24-48 hours, all results will be posted online. A player's tryout number will be placed on a team or waitlist.
All players offered a contract will receive a CONTRACT OFFER EMAIL within 24- 48 hours from the Director and/or Coach of the team to congratulate and welcome your family to DG Volleyball Club.
The waitlist is not in any particular order. Players will be taken off the waitlist in the event a spot opens up by team/positional need.
Timeframe to Accept: In order to complete our rosters, we ask that those who have decided to accept or deny to please let us know as there are other players on the waitlist awaiting a spot on a roster.
OVR 2024 TRYOUTS POLICY
SUMMER U14 – U18 Age Divisions can have Summer Tryouts
Summer tryouts can begin on Saturday, July 13, and must conclude by the OHSAA July 31 deadline.
Players U10-13 can try out for an older age group if desired. Summer
Written Offers from Tryouts o Players may accept a written offer from a tryout anytime beginning July 13, 2024
Clubs CAN NOT require written contract acceptance until Wednesday, July 17, at 9:00 p.m. This date allows players time to attend other tryouts and not feel pressured to sign an offered contract before completing any desired tryout. At 9:00 p.m. on July 17, an offer can be pulled, and a new player can be offered the position.
Any tryout after July 17 must allow a 48-hour decision timeline for any offers given.
